No trouble purchasing the product but the car hire firm I went to would not accept it and said I either needed to pay for their own excess insurance or leave a deposit if 900 euros AND a non returnable sum of 295 euros otherwise they would not let me take the hire car So the product was no use to me

The rental company do not need to 'accept' our policy - this is because you are our customer and we have no dealing with the rental company at all.
