Car Hire Excess Insurance
Very efficient service. Almost new car. No problem with excess refund. Very busy airport with lots of car hire firms, so Enterprise a little hidden away on first floor, but other wise I couldn't fault them!

Relatively quick queueing time, accepted the fact that we had excess cover and did not push it. The car was not in good bodywork condition, but I don't think that many are in Italy, but the car drove well. Very good return service with no quibbles and follow up report received by email.

1. Was supposed to be full tank to full tank. It wasn't. 2. Slow service.Partly due to their asking lots of personal questions, I suspect information fishing. I never had those questions before. 3. It looked to all the world like they had paid the London congestion charge on my receipt. I asked to pay it myself, so I called four times trying to check at different times. Never an answer. Turns out they didn't pay it, and now I'm going to be sent a £90 penalty and their fee for paying it. 4. They still charged me for paying the congestion charge anyway. 5. I tried to raise a complaint in house but they were unsympathetic. He denied there was even a complaints process (it's on their brochure).

Enterprise we're good to deal with and the vehicle was clean inside and out. I had to leave a £500 deposit. The excess would have been £2000 but I could have reduced this to £500 for £25 per day plus £10 per day to cover tyres and the windscreen

Hired a Mercedes Sprinter type van. Turned out to be a Transit. It did the job! 71 reg but was well used. Some “discussion “ when it was returned but the agent eventually agreed that the damage to the rear bumper was done prior to my hire. I’d taken photos of the damaged panels but neglected the bumper. Beware Enterprise insurance. £2000 excess or an extra £25 per day. Very grateful to Reduce My Excess for saving me £300.

Excellent service with a brand new car of the type requested. Hand back equally efficient. Usual attempt to upsell but not pursued. Some tuition in vehicle systems (sat nav etc.) would have been appreciated but easy to set up (Renault Captur).

Was given a brand new LWB Hi roof in line with reservation. Van was brand new registration, <5k miles. 1 week rental was ~£280, at least £50 more than competitors such as Europcar. My bugbear is the excess situation, which I discussed directly with the rental branch. Not only was the excess £2k, £500 higher than with Europcar on the equivalent can, but also their excess reduction was very expensive at over £120 for the week. Hence I took out cover online. They are keen to assert that their cover is better as it covers windscreen and tyres, I fail to see how I can legitimately be charged £2k even if I damage all four tyres. Worst of all though is their sales tactics. They don't want to tell you how much their excess reduction policy costs until you pick the van / car up. Say which point you're subjected to sales pressure and it's too late even if you did want to take out an excess reduction policy online. I think this is very poor and should probably be looked into by the competition and markets authority or trading standards or both.

Friendly, efficient and fair. Only quibble is that they advertise free pick-up, but in practice this is not available on Saturdays so we ended up incurrring the extra cost of a taxi. Enterprise reimbursed us in kind by giving us a free half tank of fuel - can't argue with that.

Enterprise, Alamo and National at Geneva airport are a franchised to a company called 'Helvetic motion again). They are a scam company. Read the Google reviews before renting from them!! Without going into detail, they robbed £450 from me. AVOID at all costs!

Car in good condition. Online booking is easy Details of charges that you may be due for not clear at time of doing online booking. like the excess which is £2500!!. extra driver charges are heavy. an deposit of £200 is taken when you collect the vehicle. Thats not clear at time of online booking. also the deposit is returned after 5 days.Why??
