Great service, much cheaper than car company options. I have claimed in the past, simple an easy

Clear website, easy to obtain quote and make payment. Excellent service that makes hire car policies exorbitant.

I love this company, had a small bump last year. Sorted out when I returned with no hassel.

Did the job in a short timescale

Easy to navigate the website and input data. Competative quote for the required cover. Claim details simple and straightforward .

Easy and inexpensive to purchase. Didn’t use it so can’t comment.

Competitive rates, quick and easy process

Easy booking process and competitive price! Didn’t need to claim mind, so not sure how would things go if I did.

Policy purchase very simple.

Simple to use. I feel happier taking out excess cover in advance of my trip, having had the opportunity to compare cover, price etc.

Have always used them for car hire abroad. They are the cheapest I've found for excess insurance. And unfortunately I've had to make a claim once and they were very quick and helpful with my claim and reimbursement.

Problem free service. Great price. Can recommend.

Good price and good service

Quick and easy to set up. Saved money on the rental company.

Buying was all done online. It is impossible to say how good the company is or not since very few purchasers go on to claim. On the assumption they would pay out, and not wriggle out of it as do many insurers try hard to do, then purchasing is a no-brainer vs the offering at the rental desk and especially via a booking intermediary. See below. These days, budget car hire offerings try to claim for every mark on their very used cars. When you pick up you get a damage sheet (sometimes colour pictures) and then they forensically check, with a torch, for the slightest hint of (often alleged) further damage. Some existing ‘damage’ was incredibly hard to see on pick up. DO A VIDEO but even this misses their tiniest scratches. It’s a nightmare and my candid belief is that car hire companies make their money this way. It’s almost worth taking the expensive insurance at the desk to avoid the risk and hassle AND avoids earmarking a large (about €1400)‘pending authorisation’ on your card. Care if you have a low credit limit! The BIG question is how easy would it be to claim and get reimbursement via this or any other company?
