Collected the car in the City and as a Gold member (free membership) it was there waiting, no filling out forms or going through the chicken run of full to full, insurance upgrade etc. Bar code scanned through exit and we were out within 5 minutes of arriving. Dropped car back at Boston Airport and they have a special arrival bay. Car is scanned on arrival with representatives who greet you in car park, mileage taken and receipt printed. It took us longer to unload our bags than check the car back in. Straight to courtesy bus to take us to the terminal. Easy, efficient, great service and above all new, clean and well maintained cars. Excellent 5*

We always end up upgrading, our choice. And they have always give us discounts and favors. From a manual, we end up driving a Mercedes GLC220 - 4 days for £200, when it is £200 per day. A small scratch on the rim, don't worry about it! They are more likely to say Thanks for your business. I recommend them.

However, on arrival there was an exceptionally long wait to be seen and collect the car. Additionally whilst on holiday I had a fall which resulted in me having a broken leg and being put into plaster. I called Hertz and asked for them to come and collect the car from my villa. I was informed that they have no collection service. Nevertheless, I was fortunate to have a friend that was able to go on the insurance to drive the car back to Hertz’s office.

Took a while to collect the car, but was a new Mokka the chap on the desk was very helpful, running through all the paperwork with me, then when my husband joined us, he refused to talk to me and spoke only to my husband!

Whilst the car was a pleasure to drive, the charging infrastructure is not up to the job. Our last day was ruined due to wasting approximately 3 hours trying to find a charging point that worked with our rental car. We were not alone, everyone we met at various charging points were having the same issue. Hertz/e-motum thank you for wasting our last days holiday.
