I hire cars a lot and this was the first time I received the car I ordered and paid for. SIXT get 10/10 because the pickup and drop off were flawless and painless, and the car quality was excellent, so all in all it was value for money.
The Sixt company gave me a car that had major dents and accidents on every panel of the car. Moreover, the tire treads were illegal and below limits and the driver front tire had no treads left. Despite my plea at the airport to change my car, they did not oblige and made me take this unsafe car for my family. This car needs to be off their fleet. I am starting to reconsider my choices in the future and will likely not hire from Sixt again.
Very quick and friendly collection, no hard sell on upgrades etc. Same with drop off, no erroneous fees, good experience throughout.
Sixt were great with smooth check-in and friendly service. The only downside was a lack of clarity around what damage insurance is included and how it works with top-up policies.

Excellent car hire company
Poor. The staff were fine, the car good. However I felt that they 'tucked me up' with the charges. I had your car insurance cover but they then told me that the car wasn't covered if it broke down charging me another E70. Please confirm if Reduce My Excess does cover the windscreen. Thanks
Booking, communication and pickup of the car was simple and easy. Staff were polite and helpful. Liked the car, had no problems with it and drop off was just as straightforward as pickup. I would have given 10/10 rating except for one issue - was offered an alternative class of car on pickup and discovered later that it was in a lower price class but I was still paying the original price booked. On enquiry, got a 10% refund. So check they amend the price if you accept a different type of car.

Everything smooth, car was in perfect condition and almost brand new. Pick up and drop off at Terminal 2 was efficient and stress-free.
