79 y.o. driver- most companies had an age limit so booked with Surprice. It's a 5 minute courtesy bus from the airport but good friendly service.

They used bullying and scare tactics to double the price of our car hire saying that the f we did not take their insurance and anything happened to the car we would be liable for the full amount of the car value. We already had our own but they wouldn’t accept it! We witnessed this with multiple customers during car collection. DO NOT use this company at any costs!

Cagliari Airport is badly signed and finding the Rental Office was difficult as is navigating in and out of the airport itself. Nice people but not an experience I want to repeat.

This led to several difficult phone calls and a very unpleasant argument with the company's airport representative (when we finally met him), who continued to refuse to believe we'd received no instructions even after I showed him the email. However, when we did eventually collect our car, the hire company themselves were easy to deal with and very helpful.

— niki • October 3, 2023I booked this company through an online broker. I always look for a full to full fuel policy and the broker showed that Surprice had this policy. When I collected the car, I was told it is half to half, which is a well known rip off as you can never get it right and end up spending more on fuel that hoped for. On the plus side the car was quite a new Citroen C3, although gutless, and in good condition. On return the car was physically checked over in my presence, which is a plus mark as many companies in Malta don't seem to do that and you can end up with a charge for damage which is hard to dispute once you are home.

— Jon • November 25, 2019Not too good. The first car they gave us had a fault and they withdrew it. The second car was almost empty of fuel and didn’t have a rear windscreen wiper. It had broken off. The car developed a fault part way through the hire and they charged extra for over 70 driver.
