Customer services were to pushy trying to sell me their hyper-inflated car-hire excess insurance, and because they only opened at 08.00hrs, and my return flight was at 09.50hrs, they wanted an additional 30 euros just to open earlier so as to return the car hire.
— Steve • May 19, 2026Good hire company car was clean and brand new very cheep as well. When Collecting and doing the paperwork was asked about insurance when I told them I had cover already they seemed to loose interest and kept us waiting an hour for the can but apart from that very good 👍
— Tim • Lisbon, Portugal • April 30, 2025My fault for not reading the fine print I guess but I paid for my car hire, then took out the ‘reduce my excess’ policy but when we got to the hire company they wanted a deposit to hold for the week of £3,500!! We weren’t able to give that so we had to give a lesser amount, but meaning we then didn’t get some of the money back as that was the next option down from the £3,500! Absolute con and will never use again.
