  • Booked Europcar through CarJet - paid in full on booking. Flight was 15 mins late - Europcar office had just closed when we got to it (they had our flight number so knew we would be late). Phoned CarJet, cut off after 15 mins - Avis kindly phoned them - eventually answered and after explaining they said “Oh no!” and cut the line. CarJet do not have an email address! And the phone is never answered! So 2 ‘Contact form’ messages and numerous daily unanswered phone calls later - no response - and they have my £300! Europcar say the booking automatically cancels after 24 hours so couldn’t help at all. I had to spend £400 on an Avis car which was great. So, check out the opening hours of the car company before you book - and - DO NOT USE CARJET.
