Tried to say we had dented the car but after checking records withdrew this but we had to pay 103 euros for a brand new tyre the first day we had the car as we had a puncture that was not repairable as tyre had a large gash on it and when I mentioned this on returning the car it was ignored

First car hire firm I’ve used that didn’t accept my debit card so had to pay their pricey insurance even though I’d arranged third party policy beforehand. No washer fluid in car so when travelling along dusty motorway and tried to clear screen it just smeared ! Very dangerous. Also three of the four tyres was down on pressure and coolant low. Luckily the villa host had some to hand. My son also rented from this firm and had to return the first car as it pulled wildly to the left making it dangerous, the replacement had a noisy hearing but didn’t want to waste more holiday time changing it. All in all neither me nor my son will be renting from this firm again
— Gee • June 17, 2019They tried to charge us for damage to the front underneath the car. Fortunately we took photos before and after and after 30 minutes argument they backed down. They then said we should have taken their excess policy which is what they all want you to do and I am certain this is how they make their money. TAKE PHOTOS AND POSSIBLY VIDEOS OF EVERYTHING-before- after- the fuel gage etc.
