Vehicle condition - good, was nearly new. The rest of the experience was appalling. From joining the queue in Faro airport carpark to driving away took 2.5 hours. A completely inadequate single, 8 seater shuttle bus attempting to deal with a growing queue in the hot sun of Faro airport car park, a further queue at their equally inadequate depot, the slowest rental process ever, then a further wait as there was no car available. DriveOnHolidays came across as a shoestring operation. Credit to some of staff who were doing their best despite management/ owners who seems to be content to fleece customers, however some of the desk staff seemed a little tired of dealing with queues of disgruntled customers. If you want to get your holiday off to a bad start, book with this lot. Thankfully the rest of the holiday made up for DriveOnHolidays shortcomings.
