The checkin at Glasgow airport took over an hour very poor, after checkin the car was still not ready still being cleaned

Smooth check in process and on collection good explanation of what we needed to know about the car. All existing damages were clearly marked on the hire agreement. Drop off took 10 minutes at the most

Administration at check in was handled speedily but then the car booked was not ready after a few minutes wait we were offered an alternative which was an automatic rather than manual car. I accepted to avoid waiting longer but was delighted with the Citroën C4 provided which was a delight to drive. The process on return of the car was quick and straightforward.

Quick, easy process with no hard sell of any additional products. Car was clean and in good condition and exactly as advertised on-line. Not sure why other car hire companies find this so difficult to achieve!

Very efficient pick up and drop off with an upgrade
Having found the Alamo office which was not with all the other hire car offices but was with some others, there was a short queue of people hiring cars. The reception officer was very helpful in pointing out what we needed to do. We were given a piece of paper illustrating one scratch on the car paintwork that we were hiring but when we inspected the car we found 4 others which we photographed. We sent these photos to the office when we returned the car. The car we hired was a Skoda Kamiq which was excellent for what we wanted. You should be aware that £780 will be put on your credit card as a pending payment when you pick up the car so you need your credit card. We also had to pay an extra £40 as I am over 70 years old. Returning the car didn't cause any problems and again the reception officer was very helpful.

I received the car literally covered in dust and dirt although the inside was clean, I brought it back clean on the outside as it had rained and they claimed that the scratch happened during my rental which I totally disagree with, I feel cheated as I had to pay 325 euro

Bit of a delay collecting the hire car as it was very busy but very straightforward drop off. We just handed in the keys and left. No additional charges. We took out separate excess insurance for peace of mind.
Excellent service from beginning to end. Transfer bus was at airport when we got there. Sorted car straight away. Lady that helped was very good and everything was easy to understand. Setup car to my phone for sat nav. Away quickly and the return was just as easy
