I did quite a lot of research into the car hire as I wanted to see if it was best to hire in Gibraltar or walk over the border to La Linea. I found Autos Aguirre online and they seemed to have a lot of positive reviews. I contacted them via email for a quote and they responded back within a few hours. They were very polite and were able to answer some specific questions I had. I reserved the car without having to leave or pay for any deposit. A few days later I went online just to check on comparison and I found that making the booking via their online website, the car was 30 euros cheaper and I also did not have to pay extra for a named driver. I contacted them to explain this and they were happy to cancel the booking and let me book online. Collecting the car was just a short walk over the border and very quick and easy. I had taken photos of the car before any after just in case but they didn't even check. Staff were polite and went through everything with me. Returning the car again was easy and because I'd returned the car full of petrol they refunded me my excess and petrol on return. I would definitely use this company again. I found them trustworthy and also the car was clean inside and out.
