Very reassuring

From my personal experience the hired car was not serviced properly and in despite of my expressed concerns was given to me to drive for 8 days which I needed for the duration of my holiday. On third day I had to bring the hired car back requesting to exchange the car but been refused ( 70km away from my resort ). As the hired car had a few serious issues with front breaks I was unable to drive this car for a long distance and due to this couldn’t visit my planned and desired places on the island. Gladly on return of this car they couldn’t find any additional issues and couldn’t force me to pay any additional money in despite of their wish to do so. They have signed the return check list and assured me that my 1600 Euros deposit will be refunded to my credit card soon ?! I wouldn’t be using this car hire company in future.
