We arrived in Portugal at 8.10 , and wandered around looking for the place to pick up the connection, there was nothing to show us we were in the right area , it was pure chance that we were picked up . We then spent a long time in the queue at the office , only one girl serving ! When we eventually got served I explained that I had taken out car hire insurance so would not require the one offered which is exorbitant!, but was told I had to have it or no car , then I had to pay for toll charges and don’t know how much that came to , can I expect a refund ? The first car we were offered was a scruffy golf and before we left the compound we found we had a puncture, so another delay waiting for another car . We were there for almost 3 hours , 2 miserable kids , hot , dry and tired , people trying to return cars , some waiting to pick up and only one young girl trying to sort things out , trying her best but it was all very frustrating and I am so confused and angry not really knowing what I have paid out until I can get to my bank . I do hope you have the curtesy to contact me . I shall look forward to your reply
