Clickrent was perfectly adequate in all respects except one: when I came to collect the car, I was faced with an additional charge because I was over 75. This should have been disclosed to me at the time of booking. Facing me with this charge only when I came to collect the car, and therefore had no choice but to pay it, struck me as entirely wrong.

Waited ages for shuttle bus from airport, car provided was not ‘Mercedes or similar’ as booked - a basic VW with no satnav or parking sensors instead. Was charged €180 for ‘return empty’ fuel that we didn’t request and €55 to return the car out of hours. Absolute rip off - AVOID

Easy check in process, there was no hard sell to take out their insurance, I would definitely use them again. The waiting area was nice and clean and the transfer from the airport was relatively straight forward.

Good collection and drop off. Good little car, clean and tidy. Need more transfer buses, was left waiting quite a while to collect car.

I always use an agent to find the best deals for car hire abroad - economycarrentals.com finds excellent value deals and is highly recommended. On arrival I had a problem with the company in Palma; the price I paid was supposed to include out of hours pick up. However, when I picked the car up, I was informed I had to pay an extra 30 euro for this service. I am assuming that the agency will be able to sort this out. It seems all Mallorcan rental companies do this extra charge - something to be aware of when booking a car here.
