Pushy staff trying their hardest to sell me upgrades and other things I did not want. Not having the car I booked. Nobody there to early check in the car on return even though I paid for this.
Helpful pick up and efficient return. Nearly new car.
This is the 4th time I’ve used Europcar. They never have the car that I have booked in advance The cars “of an equivalent type” are never what I want and they are only interested in “upselling” to get an increased hire fee.
Very pleasant desk staff, good choice of models and transmissions and easy to use website.
Staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. The car was in poor condition with loads of scratches and dents all around the vehicle. Later inspection I found that the rear wiper was broken (hanging down). The windscreen top up reservoir had no cap on and was completely empty.

They have a very devious policy on finding bits of “damage” when you return the car. There is no agreement on any damage condition when you collect the car, but a meticulous inspection when you return it.
Apart from the usual attempts to push me to take a more expensive car and the full insurance, everything went fine. Car was good, drop off in a different location (Malaga) easy

They were efficient, the car was ready and had been cleaned. The paperwork was done with the minimum of fuss. There were sufficient staff to sort everyone out promptly.
