  • Cheapest. Have booked with these many a time and whilst the service isn't the best, this time around they have gone too far with trying to get more money on arrival (upgrades, insurance etc...) They claimed a "no show" for not arriving within 30 minutes of the collection. I'd been calling their desk number only 20 minutes after the collection time. Then central office said, over the phone, that I hadn't turned up within an hour - they know I called them before an hour passed and was at their collection point before the hour. In any case, my contract states "must contact within 2 hours". The only way to get out of there was to agree to the insurance charges, nearly as much as the car hire cost for 7 days again, for a bigger car. I signed the paper with a dispute statement and will pursue via the online booking company first, then my credit card company for breach of contract. I'm afraid they are getting worse and more customers complaining - central office was useless, pen pushers not listening to the customer. Avoid if you can find an alternative without paying a lot more until they sort themselves out.
